„KIDOGO“ 7 NIGHTS WITH A ONE DAY SAFARI

Day 1: Arrival to Mombasa where the transfer car is already waiting to take the traveler to Amani Tiwi Beach Resort in Tiwi Beach (next to Diani Beach), lying 30 kilometers apart from the airport. We will be waiting for the arrivals already in the hotel where the coastal rest will start.

Day 2-3: During a rest at the coast, we introduce Diani to the traveler. Then comes visiting to the local vegetable shop and drinking a fresh and tasty orange juice. Later, going to see the factory of the local wood sculptures where the traveler can buy presents. After looking around at the local supermarket, we are drinking Tusker beer at the local pub.

Day 4: After having breakfast in the hotel, leaving for Shimba Hills, the last tropical rainforest in Kenia, which is also famous for that it is rich in bird species, butterflies, and different tree types. It is the only place where we can find sable antelope and Shimba Hills is one of the two places where we can see forest elephants. A two kilometers long walk to Shedrick Falls is part of the trip, a unique opportunity for the challenger. Our way is secured by a guard with a weapon. Naturally, it is allowed to swim in the waterfall however we do not recommend drinking from the water. Romantic lunch in the Shimba Rainforest Lodge. There is a beautiful view from here to the forest and the sinkholes which are often visited by elephants and fishing eagles. Afternoon Safari in the park and going back to the hotel at around 5 P.M.  

Day 5-8: Taking a rest at the coast. If there is a need, we can take the traveler to a local orphanage during this time, where outgrown clothes and disused games can be taken for the children.

Day 8: In the course of the day, saying good-bye to the Indian Ocean (the exact time depends on the departure of the Nairobi flight; in case of a late checking-out, extra expenses can occur) and leaving for the Mombasa airport.
