The world’s most famous national parks can be found here; more than 30 of them protect the original beauty of nature and the peace of wild animals. Most national parks are allowed to be visited by tourists; it will be one of the biggest experiences of those who join a Safari. We can observe wild animals in breath-taking environment from a very short distance.

The Safari – which means travel in Swahili – usually means a ramble with an open-roofed bus or jeep on the immerse savannahs among wild animals. The accommodation is in so-called lodges or camps where luxurious tents or smaller but European level bungalows made of natural materials assure resting.

At the bus Safari, maximum 6 people can travel at a time. The roof is openable so the passengers can stand up to take pictures and admire wild animals. There is a “cooler box” in the car, so you can drink unrestricted amount of cold mineral water. For additional cost, these programs are also available by jeep.

It worth bringing: swimming suit, trainers, a hat or a cap, camera, binoculars, sunglasses, suntan lotion, spray against mosquitoes, long-sleeved shirt for the evenings and a lot of high spirits.

ONE DAY IN SHIMBA HILLS

After breakfast, leaving for Shimba Hills, the last rainforest of Kenya which is famous for that it is rich in bird and butterfly species and trees. Sable antelope can be found only here. There are two places in the world where you can see forest elephants and one of them is Shimba Hills. A two kilometers long walk to Shedrick Falls is part of the trip, a unique opportunity for the challenger. Our way is secured by a guard with a weapon. Naturally, it is allowed to swim in the waterfall however we do not recommend drinking from the water. Romantic lunch in the Shimba Rainforest Lodge. There is a beautiful view from here to the forest and the sinkholes which are often visited by elephants and fishing eagles. Afternoon Safari in the park and going back to the hotel at around 5 P.M.

2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT IN TSAVO EAST

Day 1: Leaving at 6 A.M. from the hotel to Tsavo East through Mombasa. Entering the national park through the Bachuma gate and then a 80 kilometers long Safari follows until reaching the chosen accommodation. During the trip, the traveler can see zebras, the famous red elephants, different kinds of antelopes, lions, leopards, giraffes and numerous bird species. After lunch, a little rest and going to another Safari at 4 P.M. Going back to the Camp or Lodge for dinner during the sunset.

Day 2: After the early Safari, going back to the camp for breakfast then checking-out, another Safari and lunch before returning back to the coast. Visiting a Masai village is possible for a little extra cost.

2 DAYS 1 NIGHT IN TSAVO EAST – TAITA HILLS

Day 1: Leaving the hotel at 6 A.M., going to Tsavo East through Mombasa. Entering the national park through the Bachuma gate and then a 80 kilometers long Safari begins until reaching Lionshills Lodge. During our trip, we can see zebras, the famous red elephants, different kinds of antelopes, lions, leopards, giraffes and numerous kinds of birds. Lunch in Tsavo East in the Lionhills Lodge. After that we leave for a one-hour-long trip towards Taita Hill, towards the wild fauna sanctuary of Lumo community where rivers and forests cross our way. Its fauna is extremely rich, more than 300 bird species live here. In the afternoon another Safari begins; then going back for dinner during the sunset. There is a possibility to go on a night observation for additional charge.

Day 2: After the early Safari, going back to the camp for breakfast then checking-out, another Safari and lunch in Taita Hills Lodge before returning to the coast. A Masai village can be visited for some extra cost the way back to the quarters.

Shimba Hills will not be approached through a main road but a “local road”. It has to be taken into account that it is a bumpy road. Lunch in the Shimba Rainforest Lodge where there is a fantastic view to the forest. In the afternoon, a two kilometers long walk begins to Shedrick Falls secured by a guard with a weapon. After swimming in the waterfall, going to another stalk and then back to the coast.

Leaving early for the Amboseli National Park, having lunch in the chosen accommodation then taking a rest and following wild animals, like elephants, lions, guepards and giraffes. Dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Day 3: After the early breakfast, leaving for our last hunting to see as many animals as possible. Meanwhile, we can admire the snow-covered Kilimanjaro. While returning back to the coast, we stop to have lunch in Tsavo. Arrival to Diani late in the afternoon.

Day 2: After the early breakfast, visiting Mzima springs and the Shetani lava flow before travelling to the Amboseli National Park. After reaching Amboseli, we are going for a Safari until reaching the chosen accommodation. After lunch and a little rest, following wild animals like guepards, lions, elephants, zebras and giraffes. Dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Day 3: After the early breakfast, leaving for our last hunting to see as many animals as possible. Meanwhile, we can admire the snow-covered Kilimanjaro. While returning back to the coast, we stop to have lunch in Tsavo. Arrival to Diani late in the afternoon.
