10 DAYS KENIA SAFARI PROGRAM

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MOUNT KENYA

Leave after breakfast and drive to Mount Kenya with a stopover at the Equator for demonstration. After lunches enjoy numerous optional activities that include horseback riding, tennis, golf, visit to Mau Mau Caves or just relax in the comfort and beauty of your surroundings. All meals and overnight at SERENA MOUNTAIN LODGE.

DAY 2: ABEDARES – SAMBURU/SHABA

After breakfast transfer and meet your safari driver guide then drive northwards closing the Equator towards Samburu and Shaba National Reserves. Arrive in time for lunch experience these magical parks while on game drive. All meals and overnight ASHNIL SAMBURU CAMP.

DAY 3: SAMBURU/SHABA

After breakfast proceed for a game drive in this lush and region of north. The water of Ewaso Ny’iro River attracts a profusion of game. This area is known for the rare species of wildlife that are endemic. All meals and overnight at your ASHNIL SAMBURU CAMP.

DAY 4: SAMBURU/SHABA – SWEETWATERS

After breakfast we head north to Mount Kenya region. On your way to Sweetwaters stop at the Equator and have special demonstration. At Sweetwaters, visit the rhino and chimpanzee sanctuary. All meals and overnight at SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP.

DAY 5: SWEETWATERS – LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast drive to Thomson’s falls enroute to Lake Nakuru National Park. Drive down to this Kenia’s best soda lake whose waters are often covered by a living carpet of thousand of flamingos. Meet the lions, rhinos, leopard and large herds of waterbuck. After lunch relax awaiting evening game drive from 4pm. All meals and overnight at LAKE NAKURU FLAMINGO CAMP.

DAY 6: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, depart and drive to Lake Naivasha. After lunch spends the evening boat riding where you visit the crescent island and enjoy it. All meals and overnight at LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE.

DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA

Drive to Masai Mara game reserve arriving in time for lunch. Relax until late afternoon when you embark for your evening game drive to look for Mara wildlife. All meals and overnight at ASHNIL MARA CAMP.

DAY 8: MASAI MARA

Spend the whole day in Maasai Mara. Probably one of the most well known parks, Maasai Mara, boarder Tanzania’s Serengeti which is equally famous. Almost all the coveted game can be viewed here. Each year the annual migration of the nature’s most awe-inspiring sights when many of the million wildebeest and zebra in search of grazing and drinking water reach the Maasai Mara from Serengeti and remain there until they make their long and arduous trek back “home”. All meals and overnight at ASHNIL MARA CAMP.

DAY 9: MASAI MARA – AMBOSELI

After breakfast continue with game drive then after lunch take a flight to Amboseli National Park, at the base of Africa’s highest Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for game drive enroute to your camp for dinner, after relax awaiting. Evening game drive that offers the best view of the snowcapped mountain creating a stunning backdrop for herds of elephants, giraffes and prides of lion. Optional visit to the Maasai village can be arranged. All meals and overnight at SENTRIM AMBOSELI CAMP.

DAY 10: AMBOSELI – MOMBASA

Early game drive before breakfast, then game enroute before resting for lunch. After lunch drive back to your Beach hotel, arriving late afternoon.
